Super smart, and has good intentions. Sometimes people become attorneys to take a stand to bullies either in the legal profession or in society in general. I think Pamela has the ability to be that voice. As all attorneys narrow in on specialties, she may not know everything about your particular matter, or your particular jurisdiction if you're not in Los Angeles, but stand your ground if you know or have experience with something that she doesn't. She can sometimes tell you that you're not a strong enough fighter, but you may have other qualities that will ensure a victory - like inside knowledge of your area's courthouse and knowledge of your opposing party. Fight for a collaborative spirit instead of an abrupt, authoritarian energy and both of you should prevail together.

This review is long overdue for a couple years. I am so impressed with Pamela Koslyn. She is very thorough and knowledgeable. My husband and I needed some discernment regarding a legal matter. I found Pamela on aavo. Although she offers a 20 minute consultation, but I asked for an hour because I needed to cover each possible outcome. She is so worth it! Pamela exceeded my expectations, she helped me stand from a defense approach, rather than an offense approach. The law is tough to understand, and she had the insight/experience that steered me in the right direction. Thank you so much Pamela! You are a gem :)

Putting max stars merely because she spent lots of times on me on a free chat on AVVO.
She is rated 10 stars on AVVO, but I don't think it translates into being a top-tier lawyer. BTW nobody should care how lawyers are rated on this site neither.
Great lawyers do not just get focused on legal code and case law side of the legal process. They also see how juries will react when details are brought if it ends up in jury trial. People are emotional, and preponderance of evidence can be interpreted with huge margin based on how people feel about certain emotional aspects of the legal case.
Since she seemed mute in that regard, I would not trust her my case.

Pamela Koslyn is a stand up human being who just happens to be an attorney.
She answered a legal question I posted on AVVO and was respectful and considerate. She also gave great advice.
I appreciate an attorney who respects another human being and doesn't assume that just because they aren't an attorney, they are entirely ignorant of the law.
